Potette Plus Potty Chair Review

Introduction

Potty training can be a challenging phase for both parents and toddlers, but the right potty chair can make all the difference. Today, I’m excited to share my thoughts on the Potette Plus Potty Chair, a product that promises to make this transition smoother and more comfortable for our little ones. This chair was sent to me by Kalencom to give my honest review.

Unboxing and Initial Impressions

When I received the Potette Plus Potty Chair, it came in a white bag containing the potty chair and Potette Liner bags. I was expecting just the potty chair, so the additional liners were a pleasant surprise.

The chair itself was packaged in clear plastic that required scissors to open, which I didn’t mind. Upon opening, I found the chair to have adjustable features, including a big toilet conversion and a standalone potty for on-the-go use.

Design and Usability

When I first introduced the chair to Blake, she was excited as we already had one that sits on the toilet flat. I quickly noticed that the Potette Plus was smaller and more portable than our current one, making it light and versatile for travel.

The seat is made of white plastic with grey plastic legs that attach to either a big toilet or function as a standalone potty. We even took the Potette Plus on a quick trip to San Diego. Blake was four days into toilet training, and although it was a transition for her to use a travel potty chair, she quickly adapted with the help of her favorite potty chair toys.

On-the-Go Experience

During our trip, we parked outside our destination, presenting the perfect opportunity to try the chair on the go. I easily placed a Potette Plus liner on the chair and set it up on the back seat of our Model Y. After a few moments, Blake used the potty chair for the first time successfully.

Traveling with the potty chair proved to be a success. Its compact and easy-to-carry design fits perfectly in a small bag. Here are my essentials for potty training on the go:

  1. Small spray water bottle
  2. Flushable wipes
  3. 2x pants
  4. 2x toddler panties
  5. Potette liners
  6. Nighttime pull-ups for sleep

Blake sometimes resists using public bathrooms due to noise, distracting flushes, and interactions with other people. In these instances, I prefer taking her to the car to use the potty chair, reducing stress for both of us.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the Potette Plus Potty Chair is an ideal travel potty chair. Its small and compact design makes it a perfect choice for on-the-go potty training. After a week of using it, I’ve found it easy to carry and convenient for our outings. I give it 5 out of 5 stars for its ease of use and practicality.
